NAAD’s main focus is on their Foreign Trained Health Professionals (FTHP) program. This program strides to promote economic self-sufficiency and advancement of immigrants who are foreign trained healthcare professionals in Minnesota. NAAD ensures that they get support to prepare and pass the licensure exams and practice in their healthcare profession in the United States. So far, NAAD has registered over 200 foreign trained professionals from Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Latin and Central America.

Currently, NAAD is administering a grant from the MN Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) to assist foreign trained health professionals financially as they study for and take examinations, and as they apply for jobs and residencies. The current DEED grant runs through 2015. All foreign trained health care professionals are asked to apply for funding. The best way to reach us is to call 651-645-5828 and ask for information to register.
